Welcome to the Harbour World Sailing Academy!

The first question is - "who can learn to Sail?".. the answer - Anyone!!

The Harbour World Sailing Team recognise how important it is to provide all its customers a solution when they decide that they want to learn to Sail in the best location, taking into consideration their other social and work commitments.

The next question is - "What do I need to learn to sail?".. - just the ambition to want to!!

We know that everyone that wants to learn to sail has different reasons for wanting to learn, so we have many different options to ensure our customers learn under the best sailing instructors, no matter if it's purely a way to spend time on the water on a weekend with friends or family, taking part in sail racing in many of the different classes around the UK, joining a Sailing Club for social reasons or wanting to work as a professional skipper to deliver yachts or cruisers all over the world - and get paid for it!

Question - "where can I learn to sail?".. - anywhere, wherever is convenient for you!!

Harbour World has partnerships all over the World with Sailing Clubs, Sailing Schools, and Lake Trusts to offer its customers the best place to learn to sail. We don’t just want you to learn, we want you to be brilliant on the water!!. Different sailing courses mean there are better places to learn different elements of sailing, so if you live inland and dinghy sailing is your thing, then maybe a lake is the best option, or if you want to join a Sailing club on the coast and race around the shores of your country then we have a course for that too.

Question - "when can I learn to sail?" - answer, whenever is convenient for you!!

The Harbour World Sailing Team recognises how busy everyone is with work family and social commitments so we will help you plan what sailing courses you need to do first, and when. It can even provide a plan to learn how to develop different skills of sailing in different locations, before you commit to joining a club, let alone buying your first boat - how exciting!!

One thing the Harbour World Sailing Team recognises is how important it is for anyone learning to sail is that the sailing instructor is able to not only make sure you pass the course, but enjoy learning to sail, as well as being able to feel comfortable asking any questions - no matter what they are.

Harbour World Training instructors teach everyone using all the latest ISAF/RYA (International Sailing Federation / Royal Yachting Association) Standards and Guidelines. Once qualified - you will be able to sail anywhere in the World - great for when you are away on holiday and have some spare time!!
