About Harbour World

Harbour World is an international web portal designed to connect anyone and everyone with everything to do with being on the water - on an international basis.

One of the key elements of Harbour World was to make sure the portal was a 'one stop shop' for everything to do with being on the water. As the only international Web Portal specifically designed and established with its sole purpose to provide everyone information, we are committed to create and develop new areas - not copy them.

One of the ingredients to the success of the site, is both individuals and companies using the portal - with up to date information - for example boat sales and port information.

Harbour World is a benefit to everyone that is involved with being on the water.

As an individual member, you will not only be able to access all the areas, but also be able to contribute by adding information to various different areas for example adding your own profile or add an event. You will also be able to directly respond to all the different companies who provide marine services or any other related business of any kind.

As a company, you will also have the same benefits as an individual, but you will also be able to advertise your professional business. Due to the large volume of users, and the nature of internet surfing, coupled with being a dedicated portal specifically designed for those involved in the marine industry, you will increase the possibilities of increasing your sales. As for companies with multiple business disciplines or locations, there is an area specifically for them too. Many international business offer their same valued service worldwide, and this area is designed specifically for them, with all the benefits of above.

Aside from adding your business in one or more of the listings areas, there is also the ability to sponsor different areas of the site. This means you will be able to upload your business logo within that area, and will provide a direct link back to your own web-site. Known as a reciprocal link, Harbour World would also have the same feature on your business website.

The larger companies who are looking for a platform to receive large volumes of traffic to their own website maybe more interested in the 'skyscraper' banner advertising columns, ie down the right hand side of the site. There are 2 options to be listed in this area, the first is one off payments for certain periods of time, the other is a Pay Per Click (ppc).
